MODEL OF THE MONTH - September 2007 - Eve

.:: I BeliEVE! ::.

What does a fine girl like yourself do to stay in such good shape?
I walk every day as well as do Bikram yoga twice a week and dance classes when I can fit them in!

Do you follow a strict diet? Tell us about your eating habits?
I don’t follow a strict diet, I see it that everything is allowed in moderation. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, however, I do have a big weakness for lollies and chocolate!

Of course, fending off keen young men must be a common occurrence. What’s the weirdest place someone’s tried to pick you up?
In the supermarket — apparently bananas in your basket on a Wednesday night in Port Melbourne means your single and wanting to meet someone. How was I to know?

Does this mean that you’re dating someone then? Fingers crossed lads.
No, I’m not. Single girl!

Alright, for the young hopeful fellas out there, what do you look for when considering dating someone?
• Personality attributes: A good sense of humour, laughs at my stupid jokes and knows how to just relax and have fun, and of course, is intelligent.
• Physical attributes: Looks after their body and has a healthy lifestyle.
• Interests: Loves being outdoors and loves the beach.

Worst pick up line someone’s used on you?
“I can’t believe I’ve turned into one of those guys who buys drinks for girls like you.”

What are the three most common mistakes guys make when chatting you up?
Not looking at my eyes or even my face when talking to me.
Constantly talking about themselves and not taking an interest in my ideas and interests. Assuming all girls, or women, are interested in the same things.
If you could have a date with anyone, who would it be and why?
Paul Walker: I’ve just always thought he was gorgeous and he’s such a beach babe.

Alright, on to the modelling. What do you do to prep yourself for a shoot?
Leading up to a shoot I try to concentrate on eating healthily, keeping up my exercise and getting enough sleep. I don’t really do anything special on the day; I just make sure I’m well rested as its always going to be a very long day.

How is it that you came to be in the Wet’n Wild calendar?
I did a shoot for a dancing job with the photographer who does the calendar, and he then asked me to be in the calendar.

Tell us a bit about it the modelling you’ve done in the past.
I work, so I just do it on the side — whatever comes my way I’m happy to do, I don’t go out looking for it. I’ve done some fashion and sport shoots for magazines and commercials, bikini wear and dancing shoots.

How did the Wet’n Wild Calendar Shoot compare to some of the other shoots you’ve done?
It was a lot of fun; I love the beach so it was one of the best shoots I’ve had to do.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Devonport, on the Northwest coast of Tasmania. I basically lived on the beach, which was beautiful to wake up to every morning. I moved to Melbourne in 2004 to pursue my dancing career.

Finish these sentences:
• The world sucks because… even today there is still too much inequality towards women in parts of the world.
• The world is great because… every person is unique and has potential.

Best travel destination and why?
Greek Islands: I haven’t been there yet but everyone says how beautiful it is there.

Describe your dream job to us?
Fashion consultant travelling all over the world, or a ‘Victoria’s Secret’ supermodel… need I say more?

What type of music do you listen to?
Changes constantly and depends on what mood I’m in. But definitely house and dance music when I’m out and dancing the night away with my girlfriends.

Do you have any pets?
I have a little white fluffy dog that my mum looks after back at home.

If you could be an animal for a day, what animal would it be?
A dolphin: I love the ocean. IM
